Soor Plooms - A refreshing lemon and lime, sharp and sour, fruity boiled sweet. Round, green and very tart. This a delightful little sweet that is originally from Scotland. There are about 40 or more sweets in each 250gram bag.
Glucose syrup, sugar, citric acid, flavourings, colours, E102, E142. May contain traces of milk,soya, peanuts and gluten.

Have treasure island actually tasted these sweets?! Soor Plooms are a Scottish classic that supposedly taste of sour plums. This example is a good one in my view, with a great soor Ploom flavour, which is a slightly sour but extremely fruity (of unknown genesis) sweet that is unlike anything else you can buy (apart from a different brand of soor Ploom). If I wake in the night with a dry mouth, a suck on one of these soon sorts me out.
