Jelly buttons - delicious chewy sweets selected from your favourite liquorice allsorts. Also known as Spogs and Horse Cakes. Love them or hate them they are coated in pink and blue little dots. Do you remember the Dr Who episode from the 80's with the giant Alien Allsort?!

Sugar, glucose syrup, maize starch, water, beef gelatine, aniseed oil, fruit and vegetable concentrates: blackcurrant, carrot; plant concentrate: spirulina. Chocking Warning: Not suitable for children under 36 months.

I’m a great lover of these and so is my dad he loves his liquorice. This year I decided to make my own liquorice jar for him as a present to Christmas - makes a change to just a small box usually. Jelly buttons are my favourite ones and I do tend to nick one now and again so I made sure I bought a big pack so there’s enough for us both. Would defiantly buy again when I need them. Thank you 🙂
