This reminded me of the real taste of liquorice from years gone by , and not to sweet either, lovely and soft and that great taste , well worth anyone trying it , a great product
This is really smooth and has rich licuorice taste
My wife likes the natural flavour.
Really good liquorice!
Best liquorice I've ever encountered and cheaper than anywhere else!! Thanks!!
Everything I wanted. Treasure Island Sweets are brilliant and I would recommend them to anyone.
I still buy this from here as a box is such good value. Treasure Island describe this as bite size pieces but they are not (unless you have a hugh mouth). Each piece is over 300mm long, is chunky, can be bitten into two or three pieces and then chewed or sucked until it is time for another one.
In NZ they spell liquorice as licorice but the spelling does not affect the taste. Dark, soft, moist confectionary, sweet full of flavour - taste that aniseed - it is hard to stop eating it. In my opinion it much nicer in taste and texture than that Australian stuff now being imported and found in some supermarkets and sadly our British try on soft liquorice is not up to standard (once you know better and this IS better). Which I why a bought not a packet but a box of the stuff so I can share a little - but eat most myself over the next few months. Yes it does keep OK - but only if you can leave it alone
