We wanted sour, we got sour 21 March 2021 | Mark
The first one of these will have your face looking like your chewing on a wasp. Power through the first layer and the sourness subsides then onto the sweet middle and then a little bang at the end.

These are like licking a 12V car battery, made my tongue hurt for days. Having said that, once you get past the facial equivalent of a black hole, the sweets are actually really pleasant with a super sour (but not like exterior) sherbet and a nice, not unnatural apple flavour. Eat once with a piece of Endingurgh rock to lessen the blow

My wife loves sour boiled sweets and for years cannot get any. We purchased these and my wife tried them and her face distorted. I instantly knew she had found the best sweets eve. They are great.

Where other sweets claim to be sour these really are. They taste amazing and just 1 is enough. Will definitely buy again and try different flavours

I have purchased these for a present for my thirty something nephew in America. I took some the last time I visited and he as asked me if I could get some more. To tell you the truth these sweets are so sour when you hand them round they become a Challenge to suck right through to the end. So if you think your big enough try them.

Nice sourness but it goes too fast, gotta say I've had a better version of these elsewhere but it's still a four star product.

Friend gave me one and I thought it was going to be a nice sweet but nooo... within a second my eyes were watering and I swear the enamel from my teeth were burnt off! very painful but as soon as you get the sour stuff off and a nice apple flavour sweet. It my tongue and throat was sore for a while though!

Had these maybe a couple of years ago, and stopped eating them, because my tongue bled, but was worth it, as I love them. Just started buying them again. They make my eyes water.....especially the orange ones!! Suffer the fools!

I bought loads of sours sweets from here and all the work buddies were trying them, if you want a laugh get yourself some. I think the apple ones are stronger then the lemon but it depends on the person, one person spat it out after ten seconds, I choked on my own saliva which made everything worse! the king of sours, as my colleague calls himself, played it very cool and finished the sweet, but is now moaning that his tongue is on fire and he actually has a mildly bleeding tongue. bloody great fun to break the day up, and especially good if you offer to an unsuspecting recipient!! my tongue has just become a wave of pain as I type and I finished it minutes ago!!

The sourest sweets on the planet! Practically inedible. Tongue still sore.
However sour you think they are, they're worse. Toxic waste, Zappers etc all are nothing in comparison.
Take the Mega Sour challenge. You have been warned.

I buy my sour sweets and enjoy taking them into school and seeing the reaction from people, i love how people act so tough as if they are imune to them and then watching as they jump around in agony. my record is six, can anyone beat that?

Usually i'm okay with sour things -i used to eat Toxic waste sweets by the barrel and wonder why everyone avoided them- but, after the first half a second of the first sweet on my tongue, the sheer level of acidity hit me, to such an extent it hurt. 2 years later, i'm still eating them, upto 4 at a time on occasions, they still hit like a thermobaric missile, but the flavour afterwards is unmatched in sweetness and delectibility.

Watch out, they're intense. 11 August 2011 | Luke
These are by far the sourest sweets myself or anyone I know have eaten. Watch out though, they can cause severe irritation. My uncle put quite a few in his mouth and it burnt all the enamel off his teeth.

I'm always disappointed by sweets claiming to be sour. These did NOT disappoint! WOW, intense! After about 30 seconds it became sweet and delicious, like a rosy apple. There is more powder in the middle but the sweetness counteracts the sour so it doesn't taste strong. Not for the faint-hearted!

These have got to be THE MOST sour sweets I've ever tasted in my life! When I first had one my eyes were watering, but I've developed a bit of a tolerance, having eaten many. The sherbet inside is nice and sweet. If you're seeking the most sour sweets you can buy, these are probably your best bet.

These were a prize in our local pub quiz-night. I lasted less than 10 seconds - does what it says on the tin, alright!
